Lynn Iler and the HOA Board,
Thank you so much for getting the Fireside entrance blocked. Since the overwhelming majority of the homeowners wanted to secure our neighborhood from transient traffic to increase our security as well as increase safety, I applaud you and the rest of the board for implementing our wishes. Now we can be sure that anyone driving in our neighborhood is either a resident or has business within our community.
My wife and I have noticed an IMMEDIATE reduction in traffic on Meadow Grass Way from what would be a car every few minutes to only 3 or 4 cars in an hour. I would estimate that the traffic rate has dropped from 20 to 25 cars passing by every hour throughout the day to a maximum of 5 to 6 on average. The increased safety to our residents, especially the children, from this reduction is tremendous.
Additionally, thank you for finding a solution to the concern of emergency vehicle access via Fireside. Making some of the balustrades removable to allow emergency access possible while still eliminating non-residents from using our privately-funded roads as a short cut was a great idea. We have retained the important ability for fire or ambulance vehicles to get to our homes in a timely fashion while at the same time greatly reducing the possibility of being struck by a car.
Again, thank you for all you do to keep Country Fields at Fishers a great place to live.

I live on Meadow Grass way with my husband and two children. It is so nice to have ALL the cars that go by (which are few and far between now!) wave to my daughters because they are NEIGHBORS going by our house. =) It’s nice that the cars aren’t flying by either.
I agree with Mark’s comments. Thank you for keeping our neighborhood safe and a wonderful place!
